In the 26th minute of the match, Júlio Fantini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vânderson Breckenfeld saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, FC Fogo Central's Júlio Fantini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vânderson Breckenfeld. Vânderson Breckenfeld yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Albertino de Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubinho Cerezo. FC Fogo Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertino de Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Júlio Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Vânderson Breckenfeld made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Lara got free with Vânderson Breckenfeld in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chico Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Vânderson Breckenfeld made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Fantini in the 70th minute of play forced Real Ubatuba Futebol Club's goalkeeper Vânderson Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino de Queiroz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Cerezo saved FC Fogo Central from getting behind. Charles Bittencourt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Many of Real Ubatuba Futebol Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Real Ubatuba Futebol Club may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Fogo Central were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
