With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glauco Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes, Duarte Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEL ESPORTE CLUBE and the SÍTIO CANTO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duarte Moreira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. SÍTIO CANTO's Basílio Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luís Fernando de Lima sped through SÍTIO CANTO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Glauco Amaral. Glauco Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fernando de Lima went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Glauco Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. MEL ESPORTE CLUBE's Marquinhos Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Alexsandro Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SÍTIO CANTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
