Erivaldo Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Luiz Fernando Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match, Enio Alcântara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erivaldo Silva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cido Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wanderson Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio Alcântara in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Wanderson Brasil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cido Alagoano, passed just outside the right post. Alex Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Zoro's Gilson Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manuel Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Vergílio in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cido Alagoano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Cido Alagoano managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Zoro's Manuel Vergílio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Alagoano was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Guga Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Ortiz in the 95th minute of play forced Zoro's goalkeeper Erivaldo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
