Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Sapateiro's Teodoro Moraes got control of the ball when Alfredinho Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Teodoro Moraes managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Pium's Alfredinho Faria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felipe Junior was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Pium's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo da Costa in the 18th minute of play forced Pium's goalkeeper Zacarias Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Junior struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Teodoro Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pium. 23 minutes into the game, Felipe Junior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Moraes. Felipe Junior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Teodoro Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Arce in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Diego Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Sapateiro's goalkeeper Teodoro Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu Trigo. In the 38th minute, Sapateiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felipe Junior fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Sapateiro getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Telmo da Costa hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Travassos was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute Alfredinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sapateiro's Teodoro Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Faria in the 60th minute of play. Ricardo Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Alfredinho Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felipe Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Teodoro Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Faria in the 93rd minute of the match. Pium walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
