Genaro Aragones came out of the goal and Charles Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but João Adolfo Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes, Vítor Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catigua SC and the Quilombo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quilombo SS booed when Catigua SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juarês Bertassi lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the final whistle sounded Catigua SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quilombo SS.
