Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uruguayana's Dráusio Ortiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Dráusio Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Paulão Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Uruguayana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulão Capixaba couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Uruguayana's Dráusio Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Ortiz in the 11th minute of play. Jeremias de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Chiquinho Porto hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Pedro Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Ortiz in the 19th minute of play forced Frecheirinha's goalkeeper Pedro Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguayana! After 30 minutes, Dráusio Ortiz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Frecheirinha's Pedro Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Paulão Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Ortiz took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Melo. Pedro Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Mateus Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Scot Beaudoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Reinaldo Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 48 minutes, Ruy Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frecheirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruy Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruy Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruy Soares hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Dráusio Ortiz had several of the Frecheirinha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Pedro Melo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio Ortiz got free with Pedro Melo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremias de Salles hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Uruguayana made a substitution. Víktor Bittencourt replaced Paulão Capixaba. Mateus Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scot Beaudoin having to interfere. Frecheirinha's Pedro Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Frecheirinha from getting a goal against them. Uruguayana's Víktor Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguayana made a substitution. Yuri Rezende replaced Dráusio Ortiz. Uruguayana's Scot Beaudoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias de Salles in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Uruguayana's Víktor Bittencourt made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Frecheirinha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguayana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
