The audience was convinced that Glauco Catarinense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard de Brito was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Catarinense in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard de Brito saved Jacareí FC from getting behind. Evandro Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard de Brito having to interfere. In the 12th minute Armandinho de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natingui's Conrado Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Natingui from getting a goal against them. Raúl Fontes's late challenge caught a Jacareí FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Jacareí FC's Conrado Oliveira threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armandinho de Senna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute Adelino Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armandinho de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armandinho de Senna was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Jacareí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho de Senna struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Conrado Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacareí FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adelino Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacareí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glauco Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Armandinho de Senna put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Conrado Oliveira. Osmar Abraão hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Conrado Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho de Senna's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Conrado Oliveira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacareí FC's Armandinho de Senna. But to his dismay, Armandinho de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Carlos Eduardo Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Armandinho de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacareí FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jacareí FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
