The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manfredo Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Quaresma in the 17th minute of play. Patrício Novaes took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfredo Oliveira. Manfredo Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 23 played minutes MARINGA-FC got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Quaresma. Manfredo Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Folke Bolander came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the MARINGA-FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Bolander couldn't finish the play. Manfredo Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Nascimento in the 29th minute of play. Manfredo Oliveira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by MARINGA-FC's Jeferson Nascimento. But to his dismay, Jeferson Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Bolander in the 38th minute of play forced What That Fuck!'s goalkeeper Manfredo Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patrício Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Alcântara in the 49th minute of the match. The What That Fuck! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MARINGA-FC were winning 0-3.

After 52 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the What That Fuck! and the MARINGA-FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, What That Fuck! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Jeferson Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfredo Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Anísio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Cruz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match.
