João Vítor Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Ventania's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Amaral came free, but João Vítor Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Rômulo Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ventania's João Vítor Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Ventania:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bitaculo SS:s goal. Dé Tinoco shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Osvaldo Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Baptista having to interfere. Pedrinho Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ventania getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Renato Félix hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Rômulo Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Campidelis. Ventania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rômulo Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. João Vítor Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Vítor Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Jacinto in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Pedrinho Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. Ventania's João Vítor Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Jacinto in the 53rd minute of play. If Rômulo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Pedrinho Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bitaculo SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Pedrinho Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bitaculo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Rômulo Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but João Vítor Campidelis made a huge save. Pedrinho Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Campidelis having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Rômulo Amaral notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ventania's João Vítor Campidelis. João Vítor Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Isaltino Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, Bitaculo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
