Vítor Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luiz Paulo Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 大胆さと喜び the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galinhas's Paulo Renato de Amaral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Paulo Renato de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Brodel having to interfere. Gonçalo Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Robert Mellberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo Paranaense. Gonçalo Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Galinhas's Paulo Renato de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Robert Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luiz Paulo Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Vergílio in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, André Luís Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Paulo Renato de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tiago Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galinhas's Gonçalo Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Galinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Mellberg in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Robert Mellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonçalo Paranaense. Galinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Mellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Galinhas's Gonçalo Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Marinho in the 96th minute of play. 大胆さと喜び's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
