The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Zé Vidal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Risada AD's Cássio Gaspar. Cássio Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Douglas Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luziania. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rômulo Alves made a kick off. Douglas Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Luziania's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Alves came free, but João Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Risada AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Douglas Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Gaspar, making the score, 0-2. João Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Alves in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Risada AD's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Almeida came free, but Cássio Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Luziania's Zé Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luziania's Zé Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Luziania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Risada AD.
