The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Toledo came free, but Flavinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, David Sjögren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavinho do Nascimento. The goal made the score 1-2. Arrozal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when David Sjögren scored to the left of an out of position Flavinho do Nascimento, making the score, 2-2. Frederico Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Dante in the 27th minute of the match. When Tibor Kriššák came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Arrozal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Kriššák couldn't finish the play. Durvalino Eger hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Mathias Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Nepron Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Quadros couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Arrozal FC's Adalberto Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Régis Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Arrozal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Messias to maneuver through the defense. Régis Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Régis Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. With 58 minutes on the clock, Víktor Miranda commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Nepron Futebol Clube booed when Arrozal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Adalberto Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrozal FC's Flavinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Sjögren in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Sjögren came free, but Flavinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Adalberto Dante made a precise shot to the right of Frederico Trancoso. Nepron Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 91 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Toledo came free, but Flavinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Chiquinho Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrozal FC played a much better game than Nepron Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Nepron Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
