Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugênio Favoretto kicked off to start the match. Andrézinho França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Neves in the 3rd minute of play. Osmar Quadros scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrézinho França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Favoretto in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Nilopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Favoretto came free, but Andrézinho França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrézinho França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugênio Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Mathias Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrézinho França showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eugênio Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Andrézinho França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meister F.C.. In the 35th minute Zézinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nilopolis booed when Meister F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Meister F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frédson Vides fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Nilopolis's Frédson Vides got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Zézinho Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nilopolis's Andrézinho França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrézinho França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gláuber Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Augusto de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 57th minute when Eugênio Favoretto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Zézinho Neves could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Andrézinho França however easily saved by the left post. In the 65th minute, Eugênio Favoretto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 65 in the game by Zézinho Neves from a close distance when the talented Andrézinho França managed to make a qualified save. Nilopolis's players were relieved. Zézinho Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Andrézinho França made a huge save. With a little luck, Nilopolis's Andrézinho França got control of the ball when Zézinho Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrézinho França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Neves in the 70th minute. Eugênio Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho França having to interfere. The supporters of Meister F.C. booed when Nilopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho França came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Meister F.C.'s Zézinho Neves. But to his dismay, Zézinho Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Meister F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
