Chacorore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fábio Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luiz Fábio Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Simão de Souza made a huge save. José Maria Alves struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mário Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacorore. José Maria Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mário Breckenfeld read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Fellipe Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute of the match Caetano Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Breckenfeld showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Celso Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Chacorore's Jeferson Leite suffered a sore thigh after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to DRVH TEAM getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jaime Proença hit a great ball. Chacorore's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
