If Pedro Augusto de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jucas FC's Bebeto Lima got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Silas Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Pedro Porto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Jucas FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Pombal. Leonardo Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Dênis Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Brodel in the 37th minute of play. Juvenal Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Barbosa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rondon SS's Zé Roberto Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Silas Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. José Pedro Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Pombal in the 52nd minute of play. Dênis Queiroz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Jucas FC's Pedro Augusto de Amorim. But to his dismay, Pedro Augusto de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Augusto de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dênis Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Pedro Augusto de Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Dênis Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute of the match, Hélio Brodel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dênis Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Pedro Augusto de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Jucas FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Hermes. When Horácio Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondon SS's protests and gave Horácio Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jucas FC booed when Rondon SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Queiroz was a little too slow when Pedro Augusto de Amorim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. Juvenal Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Pedro Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jucas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
