An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Severo in the 6th minute of play forced Geraldino FC's goalkeeper Matheus Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Jairo Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilson Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matheus Quintal having to make a save. Geraldino FC's Jairo Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Pinheiro in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Ramalho saved Namorado from getting behind. Ademar Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With splendid footwork Jairo Pinheiro arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. Valdemar Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rogério Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Quintal having to interfere. Matheus Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Severo in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Severo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Luizinho Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Namorado's goalkeeper Egídio Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Oswaldo Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Namorado and the Geraldino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes, Geraldino FC's Valdemar Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egídio Ramalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geraldino FC reached it. When Jairo Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Geraldino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Namorado getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cícero Campidelis hit a great ball. Egídio Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Valle in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Pinheiro in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Geraldino FC's Matheus Quintal got control of the ball when Nilson Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Nilson Cabral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matheus Quintal, 2-2. Egídio Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes of play, Geraldino FC's Luizinho Valle made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egídio Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Namorado got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Valle. Jairo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Valle in the 93rd minute of play.
