An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias França in the 13th minute of play forced Alagoas's goalkeeper Inácio Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Gilmar Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alagoas and the F.C Rubro Araçoiabano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Gilmar Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Oséias França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inácio Tavares. Alagoas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oséias França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Oséias França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Tavares was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Inácio Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséias França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, F.C Rubro Araçoiabano's Silas Maciel got a free kick in the 51st minute. Cauan Paranaense came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Alagoas's Maicon França. But to his dismay, Maicon França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 59th match minute, Alagoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon França to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Oséias França could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Inácio Tavares however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to F.C Rubro Araçoiabano getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kaká Mendonça hit a great ball. Oséias França scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Tavares was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Flávio Guerra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flávio Guerra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. With a little luck, Alagoas's Inácio Tavares got control of the ball when Oséias França tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C Rubro Araçoiabano's Cauan Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Tepedino in the 87th minute of play. Cauan Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Alagoas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C Rubro Araçoiabano's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C Rubro Araçoiabano.
