Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diguinho Capixaba kicked off to start the match. Diguinho Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei França having to interfere. Szymon Lisewski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Danilo Eger. Claudinei França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Brito's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Juarês Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Geribues AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Vargas couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diguinho Capixaba in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei França saved Geribues AD from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Peter Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Loureiro, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 41 minutes, Diguinho Capixaba made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Geribues AD's Claudinei França tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vivaldo Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Claudinei França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Andrade to make the kick off. Danilo Eger hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Geribues AD's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Capixaba came free, but Claudinei França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Geribues AD getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jairo Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Diguinho Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of São Paulo F.C. booed when Geribues AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Geribues AD got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Bezerra. Claudinei França acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peter Mattsson. After a rather tough play, Geribues AD's Eurico Bezerra got a free kick in the 70th minute. Claudinei França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vivaldo Brito got free with Claudinei França in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When São Paulo F.C.'s Diguinho Capixaba in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
