Joélson Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tarcisio Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tarcisio Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ademir Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Paiva having to interfere. José Maria Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tarcisio Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho das Neves in the 25th minute of play. Richard Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Moreira in the 26th minute of the match. Tarcisio Paiva came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Rolândia F.C's Ernesto Martins. But to his dismay, Ernesto Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Ernesto Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarcisio Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 35 played minutes Florença Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Moreira. The Rolândia F.C fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Rolândia F.C's Joélson Mattos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joélson Mattos in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joélson Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joélson Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Florença Futebol Clube booed when Rolândia F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Joélson Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florença Futebol Clube's Tarcisio Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolândia F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
