An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Recife in the 34th minute of play forced Coritibense's goalkeeper Silas Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilton Vieira having to make a save. Wilton Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Coritibense booed when Tuiuti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enéas Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Vieira having to interfere. Enéas Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wilton Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
