Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Léo Dias took the kick off in the first half of the match. The long shot by Samuel Zonta in the 4th minute really tested Willian Donatello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cássio de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Só Capim Canela's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio de Andrade got free with Willian Donatello in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Só Capim Canela's Reginaldo de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Dias in the 10th minute of play. Bonfim EC's Willian Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bonfim EC from getting a goal against them. Clóvis Oliveira hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Léo Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmir Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Reginaldo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Léo Dias put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reginaldo de Souza. Reginaldo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walmir Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willian Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio de Andrade in the 58th minute of the match. Reginaldo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Dias in the 65th minute of play. Cássio de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian Donatello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Claudinho Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonfim EC's Willian Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Meireles in the 83rd minute of play. Claudinho Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes, Claudinho Meireles made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bonfim EC's Willian Donatello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 minutes of play, Só Capim Canela's Cássio de Andrade made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bonfim EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
