If Bernardinho Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Porto took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginaldo de Souza. Reginaldo de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ademir Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Meireles in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Davi Zanette notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Boca Juniors DF's Ademir Meireles. Ademir Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardinho Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reginaldo de Souza having to make a save. Reginaldo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Lucas during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Pena in the 34th minute of play forced Só Capim Canela's goalkeeper Reginaldo de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Porto in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Só Capim Canela's zone, André Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo de Souza came out of the goal and André Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, André Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginaldo de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Porto's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Só Capim Canela's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Hedman came free, but Reginaldo de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginaldo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Porto in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute André Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, André Porto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Só Capim Canela's Reginaldo de Souza. When André Porto came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Boca Juniors DF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Porto couldn't finish the play. Bernardinho Pena scored 1-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginaldo de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cássio de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Meireles having to interfere. Boca Juniors DF played a much better game than Só Capim Canela and deserved their victory. The Só Capim Canela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
