F.B.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Branco having to interfere. A collision led to CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zé Augusto Saraiva hit a great ball. Antônio Toledo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Kauan Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Falcão Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kauan Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Percival Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Léo Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zurra. F.B.C the free kick. The supporters of Zurra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Simão in the 27th minute of play forced CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB's goalkeeper Kauan Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Falcão Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauan Branco. CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falcão Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Hoffmann during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Hoffmann. 34 minutes into the game, Antônio Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zurra. F.B.C the free kick. In the 35th minute, Antônio Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Falcão Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Mello to make the kick off. Ronaldinho Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Coutinho went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Antônio Toledo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Antônio Toledo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Falcão Mello did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Kauan Branco 64 minutes into the match. Kauan Branco made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Falcão Mello sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th match minute, CEARÁ SPORTING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Gerber to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Falcão Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fred Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falcão Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kauan Branco having to make a save. Zurra. F.B.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
