Renan de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lopez having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Artocarpus E.C.'s Aleksander Rudkvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Aleksander Rudkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Lopez was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Amadeu Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Rudkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Rudkvist in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Lima in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Renan de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 35 minutes into the game, Artocarpus E.C.'s Nilton Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Rudkvist in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Lopez saved Maquine from getting behind. Aleksander Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lopez having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Rudkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Maquine's Giovanni Guerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Deivid Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maquine reached it. In the 55th minute, Aleksander Rudkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Artocarpus E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Amílton Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Amadeu Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Maquine got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Loureiro. Amadeu Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Rudkvist in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Rudkvist in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Lopez saved Maquine from getting behind. Maquine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Renan de Castro scored to the left of an out of position Amadeu Lopez, making the score, 0-8. In the 84th minute, Nilton Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Maquine's Eusébio Vinhas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Aleksander Rudkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Rudkvist in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute Abel Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Artocarpus E.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maquine throughout the match.
