Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sílvio Luiz Alagoano came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caio Prado FC's Américo Massa. But to his dismay, Américo Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caio Prado FC's Joseph Bouchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Gaúcho in the 5th minute of play. Gustavo Barros's late challenge caught a Itaperiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caio Prado FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gustavo Barros hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Walmyr Ceresso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luiz Alagoano. Itaperiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Ceresso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Caio Prado FC's Joseph Bouchard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Caio Prado FC from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Caio Prado FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Barros. 23 minutes into the match, Caio Prado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Gaúcho came free, but Joseph Bouchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Horácio Freire put in a rough tackle. Américo Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luiz Alagoano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Caio Prado FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Vágner Gaúcho scored to the left of an out of position Joseph Bouchard, making the score, 2-2. Vitório Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Itaperiu's Marcel de Amaral tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joseph Bouchard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Leal made a kick off. Itaperiu's Sílvio Luiz Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Massa in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Itaperiu's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Marquez came free, but Sílvio Luiz Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Itaperiu's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Leal came free, but Sílvio Luiz Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Marquez in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmyr Ceresso in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Alagoano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute Caio Prado FC were awarded a corner. Américo Massa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Caio Prado FC's Américo Massa to fire away a dangerous shot which Sílvio Luiz Alagoano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sílvio Luiz Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Walmyr Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Itaperiu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vágner Gaúcho hit a great ball. Marcel de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Joseph Bouchard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperiu. In the 93rd match minute, Itaperiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Zanette to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itaperiu fully deserved thier win.
