In a very dangerous position, a player in Rita Pavone Di Pallone fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Sá Viana FC. Rony Vander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Duda Freire. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Saldanha in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duda Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duda Freire came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sá Viana FC's Marcinho Vianna. But to his dismay, Marcinho Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Duda Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Vianna in the 34th minute of the match. Telmo de Senas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Dário de Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Rita Pavone Di Pallone's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Garcia came free, but Duda Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Sá Viana FC's goalkeeper Dário de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo de Sena. Telmo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dário de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcinho Vianna made a kick off. Rita Pavone Di Pallone's Duda Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Xavier in the 52nd minute of play. Duda Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Albertino Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário de Amorim having to make a save. If Gernando Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Telmo de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rita Pavone Di Pallone's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rita Pavone Di Pallone's zone, Marcinho Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Freire came out of the goal and Marcinho Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Rita Pavone Di Pallone's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Xavier came free, but Duda Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Vianna in the 79th minute of play. Duda Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernani Garcia in the 81st minute. Marcinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Duda Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Saldanha got free with Duda Freire in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Telmo de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Rita Pavone Di Pallone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo de Sena couldn't finish the play. Carlos Fernando Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sá Viana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
