Ian Botelho's late challenge caught a Havana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Havana FC booed when Team Fringe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. The tension between the Team Fringe and the Havana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Fringe!
