Rubens Tande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natanael Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Dida Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Perez in the 28th minute of play. Natanael Eger made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Belchior da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Rubens Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bebeto Xavier's late challenge caught a Campineira AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
