Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andreas Lehnert started the match with the kick off. Carlos Augusto Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Augusto Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cobras dAgua's Andreas Lehnert got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Pedroni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Lehnert came free, but Ramón Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Lehnert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Lehnert might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Lehnert ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramón Antunes made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Carlos Augusto Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Andreas Lehnert lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ramón Antunes. 37 minutes into the game, Pedroni FC's Igor Marut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cobras dAgua's zone, Igor Marut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando de Senna came out of the goal and Igor Marut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Lehnert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ramón Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Lehnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Marut to make the kick off. Nando de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Marut in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Pedroni FC defense, Andreas Lehnert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Antunes. The Pedroni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Antunes should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Igor Marut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nando de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 63 minutes, Rui Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedroni FC and the Cobras dAgua players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cobras dAgua booed when Pedroni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pedroni FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Genílson de Godoy hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Lehnert in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Igor Marut took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nando de Senna to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, Pedroni FC's Rômulo Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. 95 minutes into the match, Cobras dAgua's goalkeeper Nando de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivo Duarte. Pedroni FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
