The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Matuch in the 4th minute of play forced Touros FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kléberson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Renato Rosado in the 6th minute really tested Marquinhos Tasso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Touros FC's Marquinhos Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Matuch in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Touros FC booed when Comandatuba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Sílvio Luiz Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comandatuba AD's Jaroslaw Matuch got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaroslaw Matuch didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. Comandatuba AD's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jaroslaw Matuch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comandatuba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslaw Matuch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Matuch to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Armando Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Touros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comandatuba AD the free kick. A collision led to Touros FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Armando Alcântara hit a great ball. The referee gave Comandatuba AD a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Renato Rosado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Touros FC's Marquinhos Tasso. 3-0. In the 59th minute, Jaroslaw Matuch made a precise shot to the right of Marquinhos Tasso. Touros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Marquinhos Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaroslaw Matuch's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Matuch in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marquinhos Tasso saved Touros FC from getting behind. Comandatuba AD's Jaroslaw Matuch got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslaw Matuch in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th match minute, Comandatuba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Inácio de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comandatuba AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jaroslaw Matuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Viana hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Luiz Paulo Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comandatuba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Comandatuba AD were the better team. Comandatuba AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
