Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Durval Gerber took the kick off in the first half of the match. When João Adolfo de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Os Loucos f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo de Lima couldn't finish the play. Durval Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Miranda having to interfere. A collision led to Os Loucos f.c getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcos Queiroz hit a great ball. With his leg Sebastião Miranda managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Taquara's Durval Gerber fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Adolfo de Lima hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, João Augusto de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquara and the Os Loucos f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Taquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Raí Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Sarmento in the 14th minute of play. Sebastião Miranda was a little too slow when Durval Gerber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Taquara's Nilson Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Durval Gerber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Sebastião Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sebastião Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Gerber in the 27th minute of play. Sebastião Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Penha in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Penha got free with Sebastião Miranda in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taquara's Raí Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Sarmento in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Os Loucos f.c's goalkeeper Sebastião Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Gerber. Durval Gerber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Miranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Gerber got free with Sebastião Miranda in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Durval Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sebastião Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Gerber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Sebastião Miranda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Taquara's Durval Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguinho Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Miranda having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oséas Sarmento to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Os Loucos f.c's Sílvio Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Taquara's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Sarmento came free, but Raí Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Gerber in the 55th minute of play. Sebastião Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Durval Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Miranda having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ronaldão Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldão Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Gerber's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Durval Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes Os Loucos f.c got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Queiroz. Sebastião Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Gerber in the 77th minute of play. If Durval Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Os Loucos f.c's Sebastião Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Penha in the 80th minute of play. Sebastião Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Gerber's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Rodriguinho Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Miranda having to interfere. Sebastião Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Gerber's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Taquara got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Tande. After having played for 93 minutes, Durval Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodriguinho Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Miranda having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Taquara had played much better football throughout.
