Capellinha SC's Teobaldo Hanni got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sixten Berglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Adolfo Lago was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Marcus Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teobaldo Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixten Berglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Adolfo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Severo in the 26th minute of play. Sixten Berglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Adolfo Lago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixten Berglund ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 29 minutes, Sixten Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capellinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maicon Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Meireles having to interfere. If Gino Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Legend F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Vale came free, but João Adolfo Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Adolfo Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Berglund in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Sixten Berglund made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Berglund got free with João Adolfo Lago in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Custódio in the 57th minute of play forced Capellinha SC's goalkeeper Basílio Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Sixten Berglund notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Legend F.C's João Adolfo Lago. João Adolfo Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th play minute Sixten Berglund came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Adolfo Lago. 0-2. With a little luck, Legend F.C's João Adolfo Lago got control of the ball when Sixten Berglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Capellinha SC booed when Legend F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Capellinha SC's Teobaldo Hanni in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
