Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Nado's Dito Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Manuel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo de Senna having to interfere. Dráuzio Palmeira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vianopolis SS's Germano Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Peixoto in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Vianopolis SS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nelsinho Schmidt hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Dito Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dino Félix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adolfo de Senna. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. 29 minutes in the game, Dino Félix fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adolfo de Senna having to interfere. Dino Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo de Senna having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Simões in the 39th minute of play forced Vianopolis SS's goalkeeper Germano Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Tróia lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Vianopolis SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nado:s goal. Gonçalo Freire placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mané Tavares made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Nado got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Freire. Vianopolis SS's Dráuzio Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Adolfo de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Tavares in the 59th minute of the match. Manuel Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nado's zone, Mané Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo de Senna came out of the goal and Mané Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mané Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gonçalo Freire fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nado's protests and gave Gonçalo Freire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Nado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Freire to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Vianopolis SS's Nelsinho Schmidt in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Vianopolis SS's Mané Tavares got a free kick in the 75th minute. Adolfo de Senna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vianopolis SS's Dino Félix shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nado's goalkeeper Adolfo de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Mané Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Tavares in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Sydney Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo de Senna. Nado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Manuel Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Vianopolis SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Simões came free, but Germano Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Sydney Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Vianopolis SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
