Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tiaguinho Peixoto's late challenge caught a Soromondongo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Nado got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Peixoto. André Luís Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Víktor Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Edmílson Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 12 played minutes Nado got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Faria. Dito Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soromondongo FC's Víktor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Simões in the 20th minute of play. Víktor Paraibano came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nado's Tiaguinho Peixoto. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Murillo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Freire sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Víktor Paraibano threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gonçalo Freire this time. Víktor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Simões in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Dito Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dito Simões in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Paraibano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Soromondongo FC's Víktor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Simões in the 41st minute of play. Adolfo de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléberson Arruda's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Kléberson Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nado getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Faustino hit a great ball. Dito Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tiaguinho Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Paraibano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Soromondongo FC's zone, Manuel Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Paraibano came out of the goal and Manuel Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Nado's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Cavalcante came free, but Adolfo de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo de Senna made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Kléberson Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Kléberson Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Adolfo de Senna made a huge save. Adolfo de Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kléberson Arruda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. Tiaguinho Peixoto scored 3-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Víktor Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kléberson Arruda scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tiaguinho Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nado's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiaguinho Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soromondongo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
