The Ametista EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ametista EC's Júlio Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luciano Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Luciano Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Guilherme Mangueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabiano Pereira's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Júlio Damião struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Luciano Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ametista EC. Luís Fabiano Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Adolfo Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hangar 7's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Guilherme Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Hoffmann in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Adolfo Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Afonso Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Júlio Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Ametista EC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Hoffmann came free, but Luís Guilherme Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Alcântara's late challenge caught a Hangar 7's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hangar 7 booed when Ametista EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ametista EC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Afonso Alcântara hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ametista EC had won after a very even match.
