Enéas Domingues's late challenge caught a Psicodélico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Quintana Seron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Aírton Pimenta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Aírton Pimenta managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Psicodélico FC's Quintana Seron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Quintana Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintana Seron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes in the game, Pedro Luís Severo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aírton Pimenta having to interfere. Geovanni Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Ceresso in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Quintana Seron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Quintana Seron made a precise shot to the right of Aírton Pimenta. Chubakitos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Olavo Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chubakitos FC's Aírton Pimenta got control of the ball when Quintana Seron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enéas Domingues hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. During the 44th minute of the match Enéas Domingues completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enéas Domingues a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Chubakitos FC's Enéas Domingues got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Pedro Luís Severo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Psicodélico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Severo couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Ceresso to make the kick off. Geovanni Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Ceresso in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luís Severo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quintana Seron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ediberto Fantini was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Psicodélico FC booed when Chubakitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Pimenta having to interfere. After 82nd play minutes Quintana Seron shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Aírton Pimenta and just under the crossbar into goal. If Claudinho Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Geovanni Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Psicodélico FC had played much better football throughout.
