Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 100) Quixara FC's Renan Gaúcho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eurico Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gino Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulinho de Godoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Renan Gaúcho scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulinho de Godoi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Pontes. Gino Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Renan Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho de Godoi in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Quixara FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernão Teles. Quixara FC's Gino Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho de Godoi in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Gino Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulinho de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Pontes having to interfere. Renan Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Renan Gaúcho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Angelo Valle struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dorival Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quixara FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulinho de Godoi made a kick off. A collision led to Nicolau getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Virgílio Fonseca hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Gaúcho got free with Dorival Veloso in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Nicolau got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Rezende. Dorival Veloso made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Marquinhos Quadros sent off a good shot on target. Dorival Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Gaúcho went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Nicolau booed when Quixara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nicolau getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mané Falcão hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Renan Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorival Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mané Falcão during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Nicolau got a freekick which was hit by Mané Falcão. Renan Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Quixara FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nicolau.
