The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Luisão Albuquerque rounded Camoci's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 5 minutes, Carlos Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machacalis and the Camoci players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Carlos Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Luisão Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Vander having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Camoci's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ian Cavalcante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Cavalcante got free with Caco Vander in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisão Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Válbson Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machacalis's protests and gave Válbson Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Machacalis's zone, Nicolas Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Zanette came out of the goal and Nicolas Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Camoci getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enéas Severo hit a great ball. If Luisão Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Camoci's Caco Vander got control of the ball when Ian Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lino Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Tasso in the 33rd minute of the match. Carlos Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A hard shot 36 in the game by Ian Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Caco Vander managed to make a qualified save. Camoci's players were relieved. Ian Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Caco Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caco Vander made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ian Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Júlio Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Machacalis's Carlos Passos got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Carlos Passos off the ground. In the 52nd minute, Carlos Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camoci's Caco Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Cavalcante in the 54th minute of play. Júlio Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Zanette having to interfere. Lino Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Válbson Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Vander having to interfere. Ian Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Vander having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Dracena in the 78th minute of play forced Camoci's goalkeeper Caco Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Camoci's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Cavalcante came free, but Caco Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Camoci getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vinícius Baptista hit a great ball. Lino Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Machacalis's Ian Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lino Zanette made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nicolas Tasso sent off a good shot on target.
