After 35 minutes of play, Borussia Dream's Sílvio Pitta made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jardel Duarte took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Saldanha. Leonardo Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Adriano Loureiro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Felipe Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Manoel Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Souza in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Cícero Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guardia Football Club and the Borussia Dream players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Lira couldn't finish the play. Dito Sá hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. La Guardia Football Club:s Leonardo Saldanha showed great skill when he stopped Basílio Matorin:s penalty. Manoel Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Borussia Dream players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
