The Svoboda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Prado should have stopped the shot. Svoboda FC's Pedro Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Senna in the 41st minute of play. If Hélio Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Mendes made a kick off. Svoboda FC's Doriva Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Pinguim 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Alcântara. Jairo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Elias Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pinguim 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Jairo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Jairo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Doriva Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Prado having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo de Senna couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Pinguim 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Mendes came free, but Didi Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Pinguim 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Svoboda FC throughout the match.
