The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes, Ronaldinho dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juvenis Master FC and the SC Proença players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Proença booed when Juvenis Master FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Edinho Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juvenis Master FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Proença the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juvenis Master FC's Edinho Mattos got a free kick in the 12th minute. With an all-out effort, SC Proença's Magno de Senna threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walmir Prata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nelson do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Proença's Walmir Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Juvenis Master FC defense, Nelson do Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno de Senna. The Juvenis Master FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno de Senna should have stopped the shot. Juvenis Master FC's Magno de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Juvenis Master FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Prata in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelson do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Pedrinho Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Juvenis Master FC's goalkeeper Magno de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian Gaspar. Juvenis Master FC's Magno de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Prata in the 45th minute of play. Edmílson Ferreira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Juvenis Master FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Nelson do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Proença fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Nelson do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juvenis Master FC's Magno de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Prata in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Walmir Prata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magno de Senna. Juvenis Master FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Prata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 71st minute of the match, Edmílson Ferreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nico Miranda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 75 minutes, Nelson do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Proença's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magno de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Prata in the 77th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juvenis Master FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Magno de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Prata in the 84th minute of play. SC Proença's Nico Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Proença from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Juvenis Master FC defense, Walmir Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno de Senna. The Juvenis Master FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno de Senna should have stopped the shot. Magno de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Proença had played much better football throughout.
