After a defensive mix-up in Cascaralhado F.C's zone, Igor Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano da Cunha came out of the goal and Igor Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Juarês Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Cascaralhado F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Igor Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fugida EC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leonel Severo hit a great ball. Ivo das Neves scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juarês Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fugida EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fernandinho Donato hit a great ball. Juarês Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Clemente Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Cascaralhado F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Corrêa came free, but Adriano da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adriano da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cascaralhado F.C's Adriano da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Corrêa in the 36th minute of play. When Juarês Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cascaralhado F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Clemente Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ivo das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo das Neves in the 67th minute of play forced Fugida EC's goalkeeper Clemente Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Ivo das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juarês Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Vinhas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Botelho. Clemente Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Clemente Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo das Neves in the 94th minute of the match. Juarês Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Botelho having to interfere. Cascaralhado F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
