The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Pombal got free with Rui Recife in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drachen Von Bayern's Luizão Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Proença in the 35th minute of play. Luizão Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Drachen Von Bayern players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Papary SS were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Carvalho made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Brito in the 53rd minute of play forced Drachen Von Bayern's goalkeeper Luizão Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Papary SS booed when Drachen Von Bayern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball.
