Digo Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, one of Manchester Caetano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manchester Caetano. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Realengo FC's Lucas Faria got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfredão Veloso. Chiquinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Veloso having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ezequiel Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho Maia. Realengo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 24 played minutes Manchester Caetano got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Antunes. 28 minutes into the match, Realengo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Antunes came free, but Fabinho Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Manchester Caetano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Konopka to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Vale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredão Veloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Fabinho Maia managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Manchester Caetano's Ezequiel Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adriano Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabinho Maia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrício Dias. Fabinho Maia made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ezequiel Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fabinho Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fabinho Maia made a huge save. After 68 minutes Realengo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrício Dias who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Manchester Caetano's corner Patrício Dias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabinho Maia quite easily take care of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Realengo FC's goalkeeper Fabinho Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Antunes. The supporters of Manchester Caetano booed when Realengo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ezequiel Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Caetano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ezequiel Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Realengo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Pires to maneuver through the defense. Digo Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fabinho Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Realengo FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
