Gugu Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wellington Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Zilles's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Elias Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Eger having to interfere. Simão Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Itanhum SC's Simão Galvão made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percy Ramos to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Fábio Salgado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Abelardo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Eger having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Itanhum SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. When Rubens Barros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. In the 58th minute, Rubens Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Itanhum SC's Abelardo Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wellington Eger. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. 63 minutes into the game, Elias Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itanhum SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bahiacelona the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itanhum SC's Elias Saraiva got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a little luck, bahiacelona's Wellington Eger got control of the ball when Abelardo Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Adhemar Tasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benê Salgado skillfully saved the ball. Simão Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Simão Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Itanhum SC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fábio Salgado hit a great ball. Conrado Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benê Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Itanhum SC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Zilles. Simão Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Itanhum SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than bahiacelona throughout the match.
