Picos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Augusto Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Picos FC's zone, Carlos Augusto Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Branco came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, Eretreia SC's Carlos Augusto Ramalho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iuri Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Eretreia SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Luís Rosado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Juvenal Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe da Fonseca in the 31st minute of play forced Picos FC's goalkeeper Iuri Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruninho Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picos FC's protests and gave Bruninho Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. Bruninho Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Pedrão Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iuri Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 38 minutes, Carlos Augusto Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eretreia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 played minutes Picos FC got a freekick which was hit by Percy Vieira. Giuseppe da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Augusto Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Carlos Augusto Ramalho took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Iuri Branco to make any attempt to save it. In the last second Iuri Branco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlos Augusto Ramalho in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eretreia SC's Carlos Augusto Ramalho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Rafael Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iuri Branco. Rafael Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The Eretreia SC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Eretreia SC's Carlos Augusto Ramalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Carlos Augusto Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Picos FC's Hernani Freire got a free kick in the 97th minute.
