When Arí Veiga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. During the 74th minute of the match Enéas Bittencourt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Jairo Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
