In the 13thth minute of the game Paulo José Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Planet Hemp Fumaça Clube's Arnaldo de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Christiano Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Planet Hemp Fumaça Clube's protests and gave Christiano Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gugulets F.C booed when Planet Hemp Fumaça Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Planet Hemp Fumaça Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. The goalkeeper, Arnaldo de Moraes, was totally fooled by Gugulets F.C's Amílton Santos, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Paulo José Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo José Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gugulets F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo José Pontes couldn't finish the play. João Pedro Peres scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo de Moraes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustavo Miranda. After having played for 35 minutes, Paulo José Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gugulets F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Gugulets F.C's Paulo José Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With his leg Arnaldo de Moraes managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Gugulets F.C's Paulo José Pontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulo José Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Arnaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Paulo José Pontes made the kick off in the second half. Paulo José Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo de Moraes having to interfere. Paulo José Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Pontes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Amorim in the 59th minute of play. Paulo José Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo de Moraes came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Gugulets F.C's Paulo José Pontes. But to his dismay, Paulo José Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gugulets F.C's attentive Márcio Marquez managed to snatch the ball when Wellington Freitas made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Paulo José Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gugulets F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Paulo José Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Paulo José Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gugulets F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alfredão Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gugulets F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Planet Hemp Fumaça Clube's Arnaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Prestes in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gugulets F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
