The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Hoffmann got free with Ivar Groth in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomás Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Bemfica SC's Allan Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Groth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play Bemfica SC's Alfredinho Rocha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alfredinho Rocha hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Lima during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of WEICAR Jr booed when Bemfica SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position.
