Tadeu Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Tadeu Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Reginaldo Veiga made a huge save. Carlos Fernando Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovânio Ramos's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute, Gugu Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Botelho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Alexander Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Tales Leme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 40th minute Ronaldo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Alexander Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginaldo Veiga made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Moisés Brito sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovânio Ramos made a kick off. If Alexander Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Carlos Fernando Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting a goal against them. Reginaldo Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Apiques's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Leme came free, but Reginaldo Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ronaldo Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Pires. G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Moisés Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apiques's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Carlos Fernando Pires managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Apiques's Ronaldo Pernambucano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute Moisés Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tales Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Reginaldo Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apiques succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE had controlled the match.
